Budget Check

For members of staff that do not have access to Academy Reports, it can sometimes be helpful to be able to check the spend against budget for a department.  This can easily be achieved by selecting:

 Purchase Requisitions > Requisitions > Budget Check

After clicking the button there will be a short wait whilst the program gathers information from Sage.  A message will be displayed as shown below:

Once the data has been collected the following form is displayed:

If you are an administrator, or member of staff with responsibility for more than one department, you will be able to select a department from the drop-down list.  If you are restricted to a single department, the department number will be completed automatically.

From this form, you can readily see the budget, the spend to date and the budget available.

Selecting a row and clicking ‘Detail’ will display the transactions for that particular nominal account.

Clicking ‘Report’ will display the ‘Budget Monitoring with Transactions’ report for the department, listing all transactions in the current financial year.
