The reports, and in particular the Statutory Reports, rely on mapping Sage nominal accounts and departments to tables held within the Dayta Academy System. If some of these mappings are omitted either a warning is given when running the report, or the report may show incomplete and misleading information.

To avoid the potential for warnings or false data being reported a 'Data Check' routine may be run.

Data Check

The data will be checked for:

  • Departments with missing Department Report Category links
  • Sage Departments with balances, but no description
  • Income & Expenditure accounts with missing SOFA mappings
  • Balance Sheet accounts with missing Balance Sheet mappings
  • Missing or unmapped "Funds - Sofa Headings"
  • Missing or unmapped "Funds - Balance Sheet Headings"

If any errors are found a report, or reports, will be created showing the errors and instructions on how they may be corrected.
