Department Report Categories

To set up and maintain Department Report Categories select:

Settings > Department Settings >Report Categories

Report Categories

You can have as many, or as few, Department Report Categories as you want.

To add a new category, place the cursor on the last row in the Sort Order column and enter a Sort Order, press tab to move to the Description column and enter a suitable description.  Note that it is possible to have more than one report category with the same Sort Order, although it is not advised as the actual sort order on reports will be unpredictable.

To delete a report category, place the cursor in the margin to the left of the category and press the <Delete> key on the keyboard.  However, you cannot delete a report category that has any departments assigned to it.  Multiple report categories can be deleted at once by dragging the cursor down the left margin and highlighting the report categories you want to delete.
