Funds - SoFA Headings

The Statement of Financial Activities requires that income and expenditure is shown on the face of the SoFA in three columns, headed ‘Restricted Funds’, ‘Unrestricted Funds’ and ‘Restricted Fixed Asset Funds’.

Day to day postings to Sage will be given a Fund Reference according to the source of the income or expenditure.  Sage can have many ‘Funds’, but for the SOFA they each need to be categorised into one of the three designated headings.  This is maintained though the ‘Funds – SoFA Headings’ option.

Settings > Statutory Report Configuration > Funds - SoFA Headings

The above form will be displayed, and all Funds created in Sage will be shown in the left-hand column.  To allocate each of these to the appropriate heading, select from the drop-down list in the right-hand column headed ‘SOFA Column Heading’.
