Balance Sheet Notes

The 'Notes to the Financial Statements', as set out in the model financial statements in the ESFA 'Accounts Direction', covers many items.  In the Balance Sheet Notes produced by the Dayta Academy System we do not set out to reproduce these exactly, but to provide the user with as much financial analysis as is reasonably practical to enable the majority of the 'financial' notes to be created.

In most cases the notes to the financial statements will be written by your accountants/auditors; the Dayta System Balance Sheet Notes should assist them considerably.

To run the Balance Sheet Notes, select:

Statutory Reports > Statment of Financial Activities > Balance Sheet Notes

Balance Sheet Notes

Select the month-end to which the report should be run.

Optionally, tick the 'Show Nominal Account Analysis' box to produce a report that shows the breakdown of the major report headings by nominal account.
