Error 3022

If you get "Error 3022 - The changes you requested to the table were not succesful..." whilst attempting to login to the Academy System, the probable cause is that the frontend program has become corrupt.

To resolve this problem

  • Copy AcademySystem32.accdr from the server to the local folder

To discover where the local folder is, right-click the desktop shortcut and click Properties.

The following form will be displayed:

Click 'Open File Location'.  This will open File Explorer in the local folder.

Local Folder

The local folder will be displayed at the top of the form.

To establish the location of the server, right-click 'AcademySystem32.ini' in the local folder (as shown above) and select Edit. A form similar to this will be displayed:

AcademySystem.ini

The first part of the path, up to the 'AcademyData' part, is the location of the server, shown highlighted above.  Copy this part of the path into the clipboard and paste it into the File Explorer.  This will take you to the server folder. Copy AcademySystem32.accdr from this location and paste into the local folder, over-writing the existing file.

Close any open widows/forms and start the Academy System again; it should work this time.

If this is a common occurrance consideration should be given to using the 'CopyStart' enhanced method of starting the program.
