Forecast Variations from Budget

This report draws its data from variations to budget entered in the ESFA Budget Forecast forms. For each department it shows all variations listed individually.

This report, in combination with the Budget Monitoring Summary printed with the ‘Show Forecast’ option selected, can provide senior management with a clear view of how the academy is performing financially.

A variation of this report shows variations by nominal account as well as department. This format may be more useful for finance department staff when examining the detail of variations from budget.
